Description:
Schönjöchl is 1661 meter high peak in the Ammergau Alps. The peak is located 2 km west of peak Schellkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Fürchterlichhütte, located 1.9km south-southwest. Even closer is Brandöder Diensthütte, which is located 1.6km to the east-northeast. 4 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Plansee. South of the summit is the valley Zwischentoren.
