Geierköpfe-Ostgipfel is 2060 meter high peak and is part of the Ammergau Alps. The peak is located 1.1 km east of peak Geierköpfe-Hauptgipfel. The nearest mountain hut is Fürchterlichhütte, located 5km southwest. A bit closer is Neualp-Jagdhütte, which is located 1.2km to the east. 8 km southwest of the peak there is lake Plansee. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Zwischentoren.
