Hochschober is 2017 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 7 km east-northeast from the center of Enzingerboden and 10 km west-southwest from the center of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße. The nearest mountain hut is Fürthermoaralm/Ebmatten, located 1.3km south-southeast. Voglstätt Hochalm is also relatively close. 2 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Maurerkees, 2 km west from the summit there is also glacier Schmiedingerkees. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Käfertal.
