The nearest mountain hut is Geraer Hütte, located 3km north. A little further is Museum. 0.8 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Aschafenferner, 1.0 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Stampflkees. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Zamser Grund.
