Description:
Ht. Planitzer is 2562 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km north from the center of Enzingerboden and 7 km south from the center of Niedernsill. The nearest mountain hut is Krefelder Hütte, located 5km east. Closer is Voglstätt Hochalm, which is located 2km to the south. 4 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Schmiedingerkees, 5 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Maurerkees. South of the summit is the valley Dorfer Tal.
