Jochgrubenkopf is 2453 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 4 km east-northeast from the center of Schmirn and 6 km west-southwest from the center of Hintertux. The nearest mountain hut is Tuxerjoch Haus, located 3km east-northeast. A little further is Nogler. 5 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Wildlahnerferner, 5 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Olpererferner.
