Kunkelspitze is 2016 meter high peak in the Lechquellen Mountains. The peak is located 1.0 km south-southwest of peak Kilkaschrofen. The nearest mountain hut is Biberacher Hütte, located 3km east. A little further is bivouac Untere Buchen. Southwest of the summit is the valley Great Walser Valley.
