The nearest mountain hut is Hochsteinalm, located 0.5km south. And Rauschenbachstüberl (Jhtt.) is also close by. 4 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Vorderer Langbathsee. Southwest of the summit is the valley Weißenbachtal.
