Description:
Mittagskopf is 2616 meter high peak and is part of the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 4 km west-northwest of peak Schweikert. The nearest mountain hut is Fendler Alm, located 2km southwest. A little further is Mahdegg hunting lodge. 6 km east from the summit there is glacier Gallruttferner, 6 km east from the summit there is also glacier Gsallferner. The peak is located in the valley Kaunertal. The peak is located on the ridge Glockenturmkamm.
