Roter Schrofen

Description:
Roter Schrofen is 2702 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 4 km west of peak Schweikert. The nearest mountain hut is Sattelklause, located 2.0km west-northwest. A little further is Mahdegg hunting lodge. 6 km east from the summit there is glacier Gsallferner, 6 km east from the summit there is also glacier Gallruttferner. The peak is located in the valley Kaunertal. The peak is located on the ridge Glockenturmkamm.
