Description:
Mitterkogel is 2581 meter high peak in the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 4 km north-northwest from the center of Gries im Sellrain and 4 km northeast from the center of Sankt Sigmund im Sellrain. The nearest mountain hut is Inzinger Alm, located 2km north-northeast. A bit closer is Morettihütte, which is located 0.9km to the northwest. 0.5 km west-southwest of the peak there is lake Hundstalsee. The peak is located in the valley Sellrain.
