Description:
Mitterkogel is 1047 meter high peak in the Hochschwab Mountains. The peak is located 3 km north of peak Roßloch. The nearest mountain hut is Pfaffingalm, located 10km east-southeast. Closer is Viktor Laritsch Jhtt., which is located 2km to the north. 5 km south of the peak there is lake Leopoldsteiner See. The peak is located south-southeast of the valley Frenzgraben.
