The peak is located 0.6 km north-northeast from the center of Platischis / Plestišča and 3 km south-southeast from the center of Montemaggiore / Brezje. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio A.N.A. Monteaperta, located 5km north-northwest. A little further is Cornappo. The peak is located southwest of the valley Krnica.
