The peak is located 6 km south-southeast from the center of Berwang and 6 km south from the center of Bichlbach and 0.7 km north of peak Tagweidkopf. The nearest mountain hut is AlpenRetreat, located 4km east. A little further is Althuette. 5 km east of the peak there is lake Blindsee. West of the summit is the valley Rotlechtal.
