Ochsenkogl is 3030 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km south from the center of Volderau and 5 km south from the center of Gasteig. The nearest mountain hut is Bänkenalm, located 2km west-northwest. Schafhütte is a bit further away. 6 km south from the summit there is glacier Simmingferner, 7 km south from the summit there is also glacier Feuersteinferner - Vedretta di Montarso. Southeast of the summit is the valley Gschnitztal.
