Pitzenegg is 2174 meter high peak in the Ammergau Alps. The peak is located 3 km north from the center of Wengle and 3 km north-northwest from the center of Lähn and 1.4 km west of peak Hochschrutte. The nearest mountain hut is Fürchterlichhütte, located 5km north-northeast. Closer is bivouac Grübleshütte, which is located 1.8km to the west-northwest. 4 km west-northwest of the peak there is lake Heiterwanger See. The peak is located above the valley Zwischentoren.
