Description:
Rote Mauer is 910 meter high peak and is part of the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 3 km northwest from the center of Lehenrotte and 3 km west from the center of Freiland. The nearest mountain hut is Otto-Kandler-Haus, located 2km west-northwest. A little further is Steinhofberghütte. East of the summit is the valley Hölltal.
