Description:
Rubenkogel is 889 meter high peak in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 7 km west-northwest from the center of Bad Goisern and 7 km south from the center of Windhag. The nearest mountain hut is Niederegghütte, located 4km north-northwest. Closer is Hohe Knallalm, which is located 3km to the south-southwest. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Rettenbachtal.
