Description:
Schafkarlen is 2547 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km north-northwest from the center of Predoi and 12 km northeast of Steinhaus - Cadipietra. The nearest mountain hut is Plauener Hütte, located 5km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 5 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Eissee. 1.5 km east from the summit there is glacier Rauhkofelkees, 5 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Hohenaukees.
