Großer Magner is 2873 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 8 km north-northwest from the center of Predoi and 13 km south-southeast of Gmünd. The nearest mountain hut is Plauener Hütte, located 3km northeast.
