Hohe Gaulschneide is 2827 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 4 km north-northwest of peak Napfspitz - Cima Cadini. The nearest mountain hut is Plauener Hütte, located 6km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 5 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Grasleitenkees, 5 km west from the summit there is also glacier Kainzenkarkees.
