Description:
Stange is 2635 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 8 km southeast from the center of Brandberg and 11 km south from the center of Gmünd. The nearest mountain hut is Kolmhaus, located 7km north-northwest. A little further is Karlalm. 4 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Hasenkarkees, 4 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Kainzenkarkees.
