Schildberg is 2683 meter high peak in the Schober Group. The peak is located 3 km north-northeast of peak Karlkamp. The nearest mountain hut is Spatzl Alm, located 5km northeast. A bit closer is Information Bricciuskapelle, which is located 4km to the north-northwest. 7 km northwest of the peak there is lake Sandersee. 6 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Hornkees, 10 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Pasterze.
