Description:
Schönwieskopf is 2324 meter high peak in the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located 3 km south-southwest from the center of Obergurgl and 8 km east from the center of Vent. The nearest mountain hut is Langtalereckhütte, located 3km southwest. A little further is bivouac Ramolalm. 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Manigenbach-Ferner, 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Neederseiten-Ferner.
