Schwärzenspitze is 2980 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located 3 km east-southeast of peak Firmisanschneide. The nearest mountain hut is Fidelitas Hütte, located 0.8km south. And bivouac Ramolalm is also close by. 2 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Kleinleitenferner, 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Firmisánferner.
