Spitzkogel is 996 meter high peak in the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 2 km south from the center of Schwarzenbach an der Pielach and 6 km north from the center of Annaberg. The nearest mountain hut is Teichhütte, located 5km east-southeast. A little further is Jagdhaus. The peak is located east-northeast of the valley Klausgraben.
