The peak is located 6 km east-northeast from the center of Sölden and 7 km north-northeast from the center of Zwieselstein. The nearest mountain hut is Hochstubaihütte, located 1.1km south-southwest. And bivouac Notbiwak is also close by. 0.7 km south from the summit there is glacier Wütenkarferner, 1.6 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Atterkarferner. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Windachtal.
