Description:
Südlicher Schwarzkopf is 3042 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.7 km northwest of peak Rainbachspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Plauener Hütte, located 1.6km west-southwest. And bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also close by. 4 km north of the peak there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 1.8 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Hohenaukees, 3 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Zillerkees.
