A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 4 km north-northeast of the saddle there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 2 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Hohenaukees, 2 km northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Zillerkees. The saddle is located east-northeast of the valley Zillergründl.
