Kuchelmooskopf is 3214 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 11 km south-southeast from the center of Gerlos and 11 km southeast from the center of Gmünd. The nearest mountain hut is Plauener Hütte, located 2km south. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 3 km northeast of the peak there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 0.7 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Zillerkees, 1.5 km northwest from the summit there is also glacier Schönachkees. The peak is located south-southwest of the valley Wildgerlostal.
