A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 2 km east of the saddle there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 1.3 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Ebener Kees, 1.5 km south-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Schönachkees. The saddle is located above the valley Wildgerlostal.
