The nearest mountain hut is Zittauer Hütte, located 3km east-southeast. bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is a bit further away. 3 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 0.6 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Ebener Kees, 2 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Schönachkees.
