Schlafbichel is 2146 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km southeast from the center of Gerlos and 6 km east-southeast from the center of Gmünd. The nearest mountain hut is Klammer's Jausenhütte, located 5km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Gämsehütte. 5 km southeast of the peak there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 2 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Ebener Kees, 5 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Zillerkees. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Wildgerlostal.
