Description:
Hanger is 2472 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 4 km west of peak Seekarkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Zittauer Hütte, located 5km southeast. A little further is bivouac Gämsehütte. 5 km southeast of the peak there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 3 km south from the summit there is glacier Ebener Kees, 4 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Wildkarkees.
