Description:
Filzenhöhe is 1948 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 3 km west of peak Plattenkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Gletscherblickalm, located 2km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Gämsehütte. 5 km south from the summit there is glacier Ebener Kees, 6 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Wildkarkees.
