Description:
Filzegg is 1734 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 4 km south-southwest of peak Königsleitenspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Gletscherblickalm, located 4km east. A little further is bivouac Gämsehütte. 6 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Ebener Kees, 8 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Wildkarkees.
