Wildkarkopf is 2379 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 2 km southwest of peak Rothorn. The nearest mountain hut is Tappenkarsee Alm, located 1.8km west. And Ilgalm is also close by. 1.7 km west of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Kleinelendtal.
