Description:
Schiereck is 2344 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 2 km northeast of peak Glingspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Tappenkarseehütte, located 1.8km northwest. A little closer is Waschbergalm, which is located 1.5km to the east-southeast. 2 km north-northwest of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. The peak is located north-northeast of the valley Kleinelendtal.
