The nearest peak is Hirzeck, which is located 1.7km severo-severovzhodnoThe nearest mountain hut is Kreealm Kreehüte, located 1.1km east. A little further is Aschlreitalm. 6 km north-northeast of the waterfall there is lake Tappenkarsee. South of the waterfall is the valley Kleinelendtal.
