Spielkogel is 2144 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.9 km north of peak Mandlkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Hühnerkaralm, located 0.9km west. Aschlreitalm is also relatively close. 8 km northeast of the peak there is lake Tappenkarsee. 5 km south from the summit there is glacier Kesselkees. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Kleinelendtal.
