Plattenkogel

Description:
Plattenkogel is 2273 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.2 km north of peak Mandlkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Hühnerkaralm, located 1.4km northwest. Aschlreitalm is also relatively close. 4 km south from the summit there is glacier Kesselkees, 6 km south-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Tischlerkarkees. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Kleinelendtal.
