Keesnickelscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2506 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 9 km south-southeast from the center of Hüttschlag and 10 km east from the center of Bad Gastein and 0.6 km southeast of peak Kreuzkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Modereggalm, located 3km north. Closer is bivouac Ali-Lanti-Biwak, which is located 1.3km to the south. 2 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Kesselkees, 4 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Tischlerkarkees. The saddle is located above the valley Kleinelendtal.
