And who knows if there's still a lot of snow on the path from Bohinj Saddle (Soriške planine)? Is the gaz made? Or is it better to wait a bit until it's bare?

Hi, I'm interested if anyone knows paths connecting Čadrg with Tolminka valley. I read that one path from Čadrg to Planina Prode, one descends to Tolminka a bit further south, crosses the river where there's a bridge and reaches the road in Tolminka before the turnoff to Javorca. Which one is more recommended? We'll be walking basically in the opposite direction, towards Čadrg. Are the path starts marked or hard to find? Is there from Čadrg to Tolmin some walking path or only by road? Thanks!

Hi, still blooming crocuses on Loncmanova Sivka?

Yesterday original goal was Blekova planina. We start in Srednji vrh towards Železnica in beautiful sunny weather. Snow on path gradually more and more. Real winter idyll, spruces nicely white-covered. Path quite well trodden. Little before junction at Železnica we overtake group from Zagreb, ahead of them only footprints of two heroes, deeper and deeper. Walking quite strenuous in loose powder. Already then I doubted those two went to Blekova. At junction footprints continued towards hunting hut and decision fell to follow them, at hut they ended. Since it was quite strenuous, we didn't decide to continue to Trupejevo poldne. Still wonderful winter trip, but quite cold, especially when it clouded later.

Planning to hike this mostly ridge tour from Korensko sedlo to Vošca and back on the forest road. I estimate (from descriptions, distances...) about 4 hours ascent and just under 3 hours return. Does anyone have different experiences regarding timing?

Hi, hiked the path 26.7. Seemed ok to me. Some pulled peg, no serious issue. Proper safety at all harder spots. Cables reliable, taut. Of course many uninsured sections, scree, so path requires experienced hiker with sure step. I liked it a lot.
