Hi! Does anyone know the condition of the path from Stara Fužina over Voje to Planina Krstenica? A few years ago someone wrote that it's poorly marked, which can be a problem in the upper part in winter. Thanks and best regards!

@Miroslav Instructions for ascent from Pokljuka, officially the shortest variant, to Planika almost without technical problems): http://www.hribi.net/izlet/konec_ceste_na_pokljuki_triglav_cez_planiko_in_mali_triglav/1/1/133. Equally good is the other variant from Rudno polje. The only difference is that you leave the car already at Rudno polje in the large parking lot by the hotels/barracks/ski center (instead of driving further as per instructions). In fact, it's the standard path from Pokljuka, marked everywhere. You'll walk 20 minutes more but drive at least 10-15 minutes less. In any case, start very early because of the heat and sun! Happy trails!

Thanks for the info, otherwise I walked the path yesterday. Description is correct, the path gets lost at some of the crumbliest spots, if going in direction Vodnik Hut - Uskovnica, it's after crossing the Mostnica stream. At four places the slope is bridged with planks, all in good condition. At exposed places one must of course be careful, slopes are crumbly and very steep.

Hi, does anyone have any information on the condition of the path from Uskovnica to Vodnik Hut. I mean the western variant, which doesn't go over Konjščica and Studorski pass, but over Čuprije and the west slope of Sleme, past the former pastures Sp. and Zg. Tosc. I'm asking because the path crosses some gullies where avalanches and water often wash away parts of the path, which can be tricky and dangerous. Rgds, Marko
