Oops, all this time I thought it was Grauzaria. Probably that's what's meant. lol

Yesterday on Grossglockner from Kals via the classic route. Glacier still hard in the morning, crevasses exposed, in the afternoon on the way back many streams flowing over it. From Erzherzog Johann Hütte no longer stepping on snow or glacier to the summit (at least that's how most go). Some traffic, enough that rope teams trampled the path. Summit popular, apparently also among less skilled mountaineers (witnessed many clumsy moments, one dropped ice axe below summit, two slipped, luckily all were roped).

No, it's not that bad. From Zermula it's possible to cross towards Sernio over Cime dei Gjai.

A few days ago midweek on Kanin. From Nevenjski preval even in summer season both consecutive gondolas operate to Prevala (return ticket 18 eur).

From the starting point in the high mountain world at 2100 meters almost on the Slovenian border most head to Prestreljenik, fewer continue on to Kanin. After 45 min the path joins the described route here on hribi.net from station D on Kanin.

On the way I surprise some chamois hiding from the heat in a rock crevice above the path. Took a few photos of them...

In two days, on 26.7., there will only be a visit, when it's Jacob's Sunday with a cultural program at 11 and then a party at the hut.

Today the weather was more stable, there was no more of that mugginess in the morning, so walking was also easier.

Today I went to Škrlatica, the sun was beating down and around 8am for some 20 min below the bivouac I stopped, applied sun cream, but when I finished, surprised I noticed that suddenly on the previously blue sky black clouds appeared. In five minutes a shower already caught me. For about half an hour I waited by one larger rock, then another 20 minutes I looked lost into the sky for some optimistic hint, but it didn't give me the real feeling, so I decided to return back to the valley. From somewhere I have in my head the proverb that fate and weather change three times daily, immediately in the morning, at noon and in the evening. Well this today seemed to me a bit out...

Closest starting point for Pršivec is end of road to Vogar (not Planina Blato, continues past Blato section a bit). LINK. Possible loop via Planina Viševnik. Trail start harder to see, begins left of road some tens of meters before parking lot. Road not for low cars, gravel, last km problematic with concrete sections every few m (drainage), low car can bottom out. If not, leave car by road.
