Starting point today for Ratitovec is Podrošt - probably quite a non-standard choice, but worth it; on the way back I also bought fresh homemade bread sold by the homestead by the road. Quite sparsely populated up to Ravn or to the Povden saddle. I recommend the mentioned route if you have some more time

For me the most beautiful path, walked many times, and a nice circular route can also be made; you can extend towards Soriška planina, visit Erbelc as well, then descend to Sorica and through Nidrarska grapa back to the starting point

On Saturday, besides the holiday, there was also the Ratitovec raja event on Ratitovec. So on foot from home along forest paths and tracks to Jesenovec, from there along the road first to the Ledine marsh, then on to pl. Klom, where at the shepherd's hut there is the first somewhat longer rest. Since the shepherd was out on the terrain, after we wet our throats and rest a bit, we head towards Krekova koča. We spend quite some time here, as the live music was very listenable, I also meet some acquaintances.
We descend via Razor and past the hunting hut Na Toli to home. We covered 21.5 km and about 5 hours of net walking. Temperatures were quite bearable, in the morning it was pleasantly cool, at the hut the wind was blowing, so the heat was not felt. Three quarters of the way we walked in the shade, and we arrived home pleasantly tired
