Definitely dogs are not for mountain huts. At home let everyone do as they please, mountain hut is a gathering place for many people, some may fear dogs, some dogs are uneducated and will run also in the kitchen where food is prepared.
Then dogs will, because many dog owners are uneducated, lie on beds too. It would be good if somewhere by the hut there was a space where the dog could sleep sheltered.

The hut on Menina Pasture is open at this time only on weekends. The upcoming extended Easter weekend will surely be open also on Monday.

As much experience as I have they must be Gore-Tex or some similar breathable material. Otherwise you'll have wet pants like without gaiters.

In our mountains every year above an altitude of about 2000 meters until the beginning of August you need to have winter gear with you, because there are still snowfields on the paths. This year due to frequent coolings it will probably be optimal in mid-August. If you are not skilled in using crampons, then have at least an ice axe with you. This of course means for crossing more gentle snowfields, but not at all that one on Kopinškova to Ojstrica.
