Is the path to the Peak doable in boots? Do I need crampons at all? From the pictures it looks like it would be ok without crampons. Thanks for the answer.

19.3.2016 visited Žusem - Love Tower. Up the steep path (climbing path) and back via panoramic to the start at Žurej farm. Path completely dry, but somewhat muddy in places. At the top friendly Mr. Gračnar Marko (snack bar keeper at Žusem summit), who told us a lot of interesting things about the tower itself and its construction. Recommend, then visit old Žusem castle ruins and return to the path to Žurej farm.

Ribniška hut
Here I would like to praise the keeper Olga, who took very good care of 4 hikers who stayed overnight there from 17.7./18.7.2014.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, order and cleanliness on site, and knowledge about the surroundings and the history of the Hutter hut itself.
If you're passing by this hut in these days, stop in and convince yourself of the friendliness and cuisine that Mrs. Olga offers. Nice, authentic and simple.
