Well, really totally "off topic" but since we're already on this... Same in Lom, if you park in the valley and take care of nature, you have parking meters at 100 m. But if you nicely drive up to Dom pod Storžičem, parking there is free!

Hunting hut on M. Poljana closed type (only for hunters), at least lately can't get anything there. Shepherd hut on same pasture likely opens with grazing season start.

Korl, you really didn't go to the mountains back then, obviously at least not near the Austrian border!!! Locals had to have a "border pass", and if you didn't have it and border guards caught you on the wrong side, they nicely escorted you back home! Unimaginable today...

Tržič, then you have starting points for Kofce, Dobrča and Kriška gora. Otherwise a bit more walking, but you start directly from the bus station.
