It happened right at Zelenica. Outside in front of the hut we're eating, when at the neighboring table a lady who didn't finish takes the bowl and puts it on the ground, where the pup eats and licks it clean. Then she takes the bowl, puts it on the tray and carries it to the hut. I think it's not the most hygienic that dogs and people eat from the same bowls.

Of course, comments unpleasant to some get deleted and trash is swept under the rug. That's how the forum works for quite some years.
If you point out irregularities, you're vilified. You'll have to adapt to the minority, especially those who want to lounge in huts and walk marked trails. Off-trail paths are still "clean" for now. Question is, how long.

Dprapr, don't invoke the 'devil' into the uninhabited world. 
By devil I don't mean dogs, since paws are fine by me and I had a huge one (Briard). But if they're super for their owner, it doesn't mean they're fine for others and that their two-legged pals usually called dog owners are cool. The latter always think their doggo is oh-so-special, best trained and friendliest. They never consider everyone has their own relation to animals and it's bothersome not just when dogs charge at a stranger or jump on them. There are people so afraid of dogs they steer clear from afar just seeing them, and unleashed is even worse.
Hut hygiene is a whole chapter on its own...

Exactly so, whoever doesn't want to eat from the same bowl as the dog and just fears dogs leashed, unleashed, sleeping under the bench in the hut, barking, jumping or obedient, best stay home, 'cause "bohnedej" dare say anything against dogs....

Who forbids you to say anything against dogs? Everyone grumbles and no one stops you.
You overlook that 95%+ of people have a decent dog-human relationship, and as a dog owner I can tell you too that it REALLY feels like dog schools are doing their job well, because most dog encounters go so without any problem that I just applaud the progress.

In the beautiful pathless area of Z Karavanke I picked up an empty plastic bottle from a beautiful meadow last week, and no smart person will conclude from that all hikers litter. Where does the need come from to generalize every dog anecdote right away to all? Or do I just have that feeling.

n3jc, 'best' is written exaggeratedly, but actually it's human nature to think positively about close ones (people and animals), even in superlatives. My Faust (my taca) has already been oh-in-sploh and the best in everything, especially in mischief .
